Welcome to Mrs. Durgin's Preschool

At Mrs. Durgin's Preschool, we provide a nurturing, supportive, home-like environment where children feel safe, loved, and excited to learn. Our play-based curriculum fosters independence, confidence, and social fluency while supporting growth in all areas—social, cognitive, emotional, and physical.

We create a "yes" environment where children explore freely, engage in open-ended play, and develop problem-solving skills. Child-sized furniture and thoughtfully designed spaces encourage movement, interaction, and creativity. Outside, we embrace nature and active play, from riding big wheels to water and sand exploration.

Our curriculum focuses on life skills, motor development, and social-emotional learning. We celebrate the process of discovery—whether through arts and crafts, storytelling, or imaginative play—allowing children to express themselves with confidence.

We also prioritize healthy routines, offering family-style dining with fresh, nutritious meals and a quiet nap or relaxation period to recharge.

At Mrs. Durgin’s Preschool, children thrive in a supportive setting that nurtures curiosity, self-expression, and friendships. They’ll love it so much, they won’t want to leave!
